Position Summary

Provide support to select hospitality clients.

Position Reports To

Account Executive

Client + Media Relations
  • Work closely with Senior Account Executives and Account Directors to provide day-to-day support to clients
  • Assist with developing and implementing strategy and campaign planning for multiple client accounts
  • Serve as daily contact for multiple accounts; handle media requests and oversee projects
  • Write external + internal documents such as press materials, face sheets, talking points, team bios, etc.
  • Develop personalized pitches and strategic media target lists 
  • Brainstorm thoughtful story angles, brand initiatives and creative activations aligned with clients’ brand strategy
  • Strengthen media relationships to garner placements in national + local publications
Admin Support + Organization
  • Update + maintain status reports for all accounts
  • Actively monitor for press hits and send timely alerts to clients 
  • Prepare meeting + call agendas and action items, monthly or weekly activity reports
  • Conduct research for media targets, influencer partnerships and event lists 
Events
  • Assist with client + agency events including, but not limited to: Invite list creation, RSVP management, onsite attendance, monitoring for post-event coverage, post-event follow-up with clients + attendees
  • Secure + manage RSVPs for various client or agency-related happenings – openings, social media-driven initiatives, product seedings, press visits, trips, etc.
  • Represent Becca at industry + agency events/happenings
Agency Relations
  • Actively participate in all-team meetings and brainstorms
  • Read the papers, relevant lifestyle + food magazines and websites; monitor for placements of our clients as well as information relevant to the industry to be shared with Becca staff
  • Suggest + draft posts for the Becca social media feeds on a consistent basis, ensuring your clients are regularly represented and relevant events + high-level press are incorporated
  • CRM: Use and contribute to Copper as an agency asset, building our database regularly
  • Harvest: Use Harvest daily/weekly to track your time and inform pricing and drive account profitability and your own time management
  • LinkedIn + social channels: create content the agency can post across all of our social channels.
