Account Supervisor

Position Summary

Oversee accounts + provide high-level strategy to clients. Provide leadership to junior team members.

Position Reports To

Account Director

Client + Media Relations
  • Implementation of strategy and campaign planning for multiple client accounts, driving counsel, client interaction, marketing plans, etc.
  • Create and execute effective, tailored PR+marketing plans that encapsulates brand strategy, experiences, creative + social and communications.
  • Handle day-to-day client interactions.
  • Develop thoughtful pitches + review the team’s writing materials.
  • Lead portions of client meetings in conjunction with an AD 
  • Drive brainstorming sessions on behalf of clients
  • Possess the ability to dig deep into client goals to secure meaningful and impactful press placements that drive business
Leadership + Organization
  • Manage AE + ACs 
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to support team members on effective account workflow + general account issues.
  • Finalize internal + external documents – press materials,  agendas, action items, pitches, media target lists, invite lists, etc.
  • Leads teams by example, showcasing professionalism, punctuality and problem solving 
Agency Relations
  • Possesses and knows how to build and maintain strong relationships with high-level regional and national print, online, and broadcast media important to clients
  • Maintain + develop strategic industry and influencer relationships 
  • Seek creative partnership opportunities for clients.
  • CRM: Use and contribute to Copper as an agency asset, building our database regularly
  • Harvest: Use Harvest daily/weekly to track your time and inform pricing and drive account profitability and your own time management
Events
  • Develop and manage client events and activations.
  • Finalize invite lists and oversee onsite attendance for events, client/host facilitation, pitching + monitoring for post-event coverage, post-event follow up with clients + attendees
  • Represent Becca at industry events/happenings (local + national)
Requirements
  • 5 years of PR agency experience working with hospitality, travel and/or consumer clients
  • 1 year experience managing a team
  • Ability to balance the big picture strategy with the tactical details of daily activities and projects.
  • A proven track record of securing coverage for clients in national hospitality/lifestyle/travel media outlets and strong media relationships.
  • Strong communication skills, project management, problem solving and executive functioning.
