Becca parrish

Founder + CEO
Before Becca Parrish was deemed “the chef whisperer” by W magazine, she was a kid growing up in the panhandle of Florida—raised on a steady diet of Southern hospitality and great food.

She began her career as a newspaper reporter in Montgomery, Alabama, after earning a master’s degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. When she moved to New York in 1997, she immediately indulged in all the city had to offer, merging her love of dining, hospitality and storytelling by pursuing a career in communications. She launched her eponymous agency in 2004, becoming the trusted go-to for brands and personalities in food, culture + hospitality.

Since then, she has represented some of the most talented names in the industry, delivering creative strategy and storytelling for brands such as Ralph Lauren, Rockefeller Center and Netflix as well as chefs such as  Eric Ripert, JP and Ellia Park, Mashama Bailey and Ignacio Mattos. Her agency’s work is consistently recognized by the Observer’s Power List and Forbes’ Best Agencies in America. In 2024, she began a new chapter, partnering with Jen Prosek to bridge culture and capital globally.

Becca lives in New York City with her family and dog Roux and sits on the boards of Emma’s Torch and City Harvest’s Food Council.

Parrish has managed to become to the restaurant industry what Sue Mengers was to Hollywood in the ’70s, a charming handler beloved by her clients, not to mention the upper crust of New York’s dining scene that she now calls friends.
