That was the challenge facing us as we teamed with J.J. Martin, founder of the iconoclastic lifestyle brand La Double J. Print maximalist, vibration-raiser and all-around powerhouse, Martin came to New York to celebrate the launch of her first book, Mamma Milano. We orchestrated a pair of aperitivo events, attracting a who’s who of media at the classically Italian restaurants Sant Ambroeus and Lodi in Rock Center. We fostered strategic introductions with top-tier editors and producers, such as Stella Bugbee of The New York Times Style section, Debbie Kosofsky of Today Show and Giada De Laurentiis of Food Network, earning Martin placement in articles and podcasts along with millions of social impressions. Suffice to say, America now knows J.J.
